For your Fun!!!
Lorelai’s Lair is your cozy retreat away from home; we know that you will enjoy relaxing at the Lair.
The cabin is located at the end of the lane and is very private. The front porch welcomes you with wooden rockers and a hammock. The back porch offers a 4 person private hot tub that will soothe whatever ails you. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch or take a stroll through the woods. If you are very quiet you might see the resident deer up close.
The Lair sits between three states in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina just 5 miles off of US64 and a stones throw to Hayesville, Brasstown, and Murphy in North Carolina and Hiawassee in Georgia. We are close to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Young Harris College, John Campbell Folk School, Lake Chatuge, Fontana Dam, Brasstown Bald, and great trout fishing in local creeks (don’t forget to get a license). Visit Crane Creek Vineyards and enjoy a winery tour and tasting.
Boat rental, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking are among the many activities available in the area. A cinema, antique shopping, and hometown charm can be found in neighboring towns.
Wake up to whippoorwills and other wildlife in the area. Your well behaved dog is welcome too, but please no cats the owner is allergic!!! There is a securely fenced area to exercise your dogs so walking the dog is a breeze. The back porch leads directly to the fenced area, or walk around the small neighborhood and enjoy the mountain scenery and sounds.
